Pilani Investment and Industries Corporation Limited is an Investment Company registered with the Reserve Bank of India as a Core Investment Company (NBFC-CIC) without accepting public deposits.

The Company was incorporated at Jaipur, Rajputana (now Rajasthan) on 9th August, 1948 under the Jaipur Companies Act,1942 and commenced its business on 12th August, 1948. The company's registered office was shifted from Jaipur to Gwalior in the year 1982 and the same was shifted to Kolkata with effect from 2002. Presently, the Registered office of the Company is at Birla Building, 9/1 R. N. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata- 700001. The equity shares of the Company are listed on National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited.
